Our Journey
Leading the way with ethical investing since 2014, we are independent financial advisers in Auckland with clients all over Aotearoa New Zealand.
With over 50 years of combined ethical investing advice experience – we’ve been there, done that. You’re in good hands with our terrific team of dedicated experts who share your values. We are founder and employee owned. And we’re committed to using ethical principles to give outcomes that are better for our clients, nature and society.
Like all good things, Ethical Investing NZ was years in the making. Based on his decades-long commitment to stewardship, founder Peter Lee brought together his extensive experience of “advising advisers” (including as a former CEO of the Institute of Financial Advisers) with his passion for ethical investing, (having helped design some of the country’s first ethical investment portfolios and subsequently developed two ethical funds). In 2014, at age 56, Peter made the gutsy decision to quit his senior corporate role to set up a top-flight, professional advice firm based on principles of sustainability. The business was born!
